1. Definitions
- “Company” refers to DEAN HAVEN CLEANING SERVICES.
- “Customer” refers to the person or organisation booking our services.
- “Services” refers to window cleaning and related cleaning services provided by the Company.
2. Quotations & Pricing
- All quotes are provided free of charge and are valid for 30 days.
- Quotes are based on information provided and visual inspection, where possible.
- The Company reserves the right to amend pricing if the property condition differs from that described at the time of quotation.
- Prices may be reviewed periodically, with notice given to regular customers.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment is due on completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- For commercial contracts, payment terms are 14 days from the invoice date.
- The Company reserves the right to charge statutory interest on overdue payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Access & Safety
- The Customer must provide safe and unobstructed access to all areas requiring cleaning.
- The Company will not move heavy or valuable items.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse work if it considers conditions unsafe.
- Customers must inform the Company of any known hazards (e.g., loose window panes, fragile fittings).
5. Weather Conditions
- Services may be rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions (e.g., high winds, lightning, freezing temperatures) at the Company’s discretion.
- Rain does not automatically prevent window cleaning unless conditions are unsafe.
6. Cancellations
- At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
- Late cancellations may incur a fee of up to 50% of the agreed service price.
7. Damage & Liability
- The Company is fully insured with Public Liability Insurance.
- Any damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion.
- The Company is not responsible for pre-existing damage, faulty window seals, oxidised frames, or poorly fitted windows.
- Liability is limited to the value of the service provided.
8. Complaints
- If you are not satisfied with the service, please contact us within 24 hours.
- We will return to rectify any issues at no additional cost where appropriate.
9. Regular Service Agreements
- Regular window cleaning services operate on a [4/6/8-week] cycle unless otherwise agreed.
- Skipping a scheduled clean may incur additional charges on the next visit.
10. Data Protection
- Customer details are stored securely and processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
- Information will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
